If you asked me in 2020, I would've told you that all I listen to is football podcasts, and that I don't really like music. Maybe I wasn't listening to the right music, maybe I just really liked football, but I would rarely listen to a song let alone listen to a full album. This was until 2023, my senior year in high school, when I really got into music. I first discovered Little Simz Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, then Kanye West, and then Jay-Z and it just snowballed from there.

I would say my favourite genre is hip-hop, I've grown up with it and have always been drawn to it, although through this journey that has slightly shifted. Weirdly, I've begun drifting towards folksy singer-songwriters like Adrianne Lenker and Nick Drake, although I've still got so many more artists and albums to listen to, so who knows what my music taste will ultimately end up being.

Now, I'm a university student studying Environmental Science and Digital/Social Media and I'm catching up on years of neglecting music.
